Christmas Flowers

So, it's nearly another year. Christmas went alright. Caeser was actually somewhat thoughtful and bought some exotic seeds, and Derrot was her usual obnoxious self and made a salad for me. Xerxes and Toni decided to be cute and get me herbal bath products. Very funny, guys.

If we weren't a bunch of poor aliens trying to hide from this backwards world, I'd buy a camera to show you the gifts. And make a cute pose. All the cool kids are doing it on their blogs it seems.

Yes, I sound a bit depressed. Those sneaky Christmas specials make the holidays look so shiny, and it's so disappointing when those goons keep me working in the kitchen, in the laundry room, and taking down the Christmas tree only to find we had an infestation of carpenter ants.

But it's almost New Years, so I guess I'll look forward to that! I can start the New Year as a rebel instead of a pushover! Yes!

Impending Doom v1

It's that time now. Summer.

That means almost a month until we get to see the forests.

And what do I get to do in the mean time, eh? (Haha, I WISH we could go to Canada.)

Babysitting.

Babysitting two adults that are nearly the same age me.

So I guess you know what my adventures are going to be like for the next couple of weeks. -______-

Maybe I can get Toni to play 'Mommy.' >_>

Closer and Closer

Every week we get closer and closer to that dreaded time where Caeser and Derrot will be out of school. If they don't escape first. They really seem to be up to something lately.

Though once they are out of school (or escape), we'll be going on a trip to see some really pretty forests. I'm actually really excited about that.

Well, except I'll have to bring everyone along.

They'll probably burn down the entire forest.

Friend Eater

It has gotten really hot here. I'm a bit worried about my plants outside, but at least it has been raining.

It really doesn't help that this weekend Derrot came in and started EATING some of my inside trees and flowers. She won't eat her vegetables, but she'll eat my precious FRIENDS?!

And the little (lol) monster kept trying to sneak back into the greenhouse to do more damage today. I would like to blame Caeser and his pranks, but sadly those two are two completely different types of terrible.

It is totally Spring now

The days are getting pretty long and plants smell nice and the birds are chirping...

No, I'm not coming down sick! I have nature powers, remember? So the Spring aura can even make someone like me incredibly happy.

This may mean our doom is sealed as summer approaches and the troublemakers get out of the school thing and the Captain wants to try some Earth summer customs, but it also means they'll hopefully go outside and away. Even though I probably have to still do all the chores and drive.

But I won't let that get me down because it's Spring and with it comes an increase in my powers, a rebirth! Maybe I can stand up to those bullies I call my crew.

Spring Break... for everyone else

We took a two week Spring Break and then some. We wanted to experiment with the Earthling's ideas, but now I'm not so sure it was a good idea. Naturally, I didn't have any fun due to my status as ensign. It was just a normal busy week for me. But the two idiots had fun not being in school and the Captain went a little too far.

However...

I can't help but feel a little warm inside. We truly are like a little family struggling together on this new planet.

I might bite my tongue later.

Bawk

I suppose now everyone is wondering exactly what happened with the Captain and me.

A chicken.

Yes, bawk, bawk, bawk.

Remember how I'm the one that got the drivers license? And the car?

And you know how cars have a thing called an ENGINE??

Yes, yes.

The car still smells like roasted chicken.

AND IT MAKES ME HUNGRY.

Filler episode 1

Drove Caeser and Derrot to school and Toni and Xerxes downtown. I feel like we're in a "filler episode" or something. :\

Drivers License

While settling into our new "home" on Earth, we decided on different roles each of us should play. It seems like Captain is the Daddy, Toni is the Mommy, Caeser and Derrot are the kids, and I am the... family dog.

Just kidding.

Though there is some truth to that. Xerxes is just bossing us around as usual (hence the roles.) I don't know what Toni's been doing. Xerxes found it amusing that the truant officers sent Caeser and Derrot to school, so it looks like they have to deal with that. And what do I have to do?

Learn to drive. Flying is waaaay easier, don't you think? Especially a spaceship. Because there are fewer things to bump into in space. It's so spread out. Earth, however, is a nasty traffic jam. Don't get me wrong, it's like that on other planets, too. But there's a thing called public transportation that this particular place on Earth does not have a very advanced version of.

One good thing came of this, though. When I was getting my vision checked, I think a girl was checking me out. |D

Toni says it's just because of the glasses. :( Crazy Earth fetishes.

A new friend

This new week has got me really stoked! Pretty soon we're going to make a landing on Earth. I'm going to go to a florist and see if I can find a new friend (nobody wants to be my friend in this crew.) :(

I wonder what species I should get? Any ideas?

I'm not an ensign!

I'm not! How dare Xerxes refer to me as one! I'm a captain! Well, I don't have a crew. Or a ship. But I'm every bit his equal.

So what happened. (I'm telling this because I want to, not because it was assigned to the ship's "ensign.") Since we have to connect to an Earth internet connection to post to this website, we are sadly reliant on their technology. So one day the internet didn't work at all. Apparently the server we use totally went down. It only went down for a day, but we took a break. Toni took the news especially hard, since she didn't get to make her daily post. That ruined it for her. (It ruined several weeks of our lives, too.) But with the dawning of a new month, we'll try to return to our days as scheduled. Maybe we'll make some extra posts here and there to ease our guilty consciences. Toni and my guilty consciences at least. Hank is always busy acting like the boss, Derrot likes to play in meadows and bunny crap all day, and Caesar is just plain lazy.

I might have to make some lasagna. They seem to like that Earth dish.

Except Caesar, you know. He eats the souls of kittens.

It's almost Monday
